Our projects
Our organization is involved in numerous projects to South Asians achieving their American Dream

Education
SAFEST provides new immigrants the education, job skill training and guidance needed to succeed in the new environment. We inform new workers about proper working conditions, entitled benefits, and their rights as an employee.
civic engagement
SAFEST introduces immigrants to the political system through various involvements in the bipartisan electoral process. It leads workshops to organize, educate and register new voters to help them understand the importance of voting and facilitates candidate forums for voters to understand candidates’ positions on issues that are important to the community.
Awareness
We demand all South Asians to be treated equally as everyone. We fight hard to get our voices heard in order to protect community values and interests. We work hand-in-hand with other related organizations to demand equal opportunity, fairness and justice for all.
Youth Leadership
We promote civic engagement, participation and volunteerism in the South Asian community. We focus on engaging youths to facilitate intergenerational movements to fight for injustices in our society. We hope to inspire these youths as leaders of their generation so that all those who follow can benefit as well.
